I've had the privilege of photographing Michelle and her beautiful little family for years. From family portraits with her beloved French Bulldogs to celebrating special moments along the way, each session has become another chapter in a story I've loved documenting. So when she told me she was expecting her little miracle and asked me to photograph her baby shower, it felt like such an honour.

A Beautiful Celebration at Number Nineteen Events in Century City
The celebration took place at the stunning Number Nineteen Events venue in Century City, and honestly, it couldn't have been a more perfect choice.
The venue offers a beautifully modern, light-filled space that creates the ideal backdrop for elegant celebrations while still feeling warm and welcoming. Every detail had been thoughtfully planned, transforming the venue into what truly felt like a dreamy pink wonderland.
Soft blush tones filled every corner of the room, accented beautifully with crisp white details and luxurious gold balloons. The custom balloon installations framed the venue perfectly, creating multiple beautiful photo opportunities while making every corner feel magical.
The statement backdrop featuring layered arches, fluffy cloud installations and delicate gold lettering created the most gorgeous focal point for the celebration. It was feminine, elegant and playful all at once—a perfect reflection of the excitement surrounding the arrival of baby Dyason.
One of my favourite details was how cohesive everything looked. The tables were dressed in soft pink runners with romantic floral arrangements featuring roses, orchids and delicate baby's breath. Every guest was surrounded by beautiful styling that made the entire room feel incredibly special.
And then there was the dress code...
Every guest arrived wearing shades of pink, making the entire celebration feel beautifully coordinated. It created such a wonderful atmosphere and made the photographs look incredibly timeless and elegant.
Of Course the French Bulldogs Had to Be There
Anyone who knows Michelle knows that her French Bulldogs are family.
So naturally, they had to be included in one of the biggest celebrations of her life.
One of the things that made this venue even more perfect was that Number Nineteen Events is dog-friendly, allowing Michelle's two adorable French Bulldogs to be part of the day.
As someone who absolutely adores photographing pets (especially dogs), this made me incredibly happy.
Watching them wander around greeting guests, soaking up all the attention and eventually posing for portraits alongside their mum was honestly one of my favourite parts of the day.
One of my favourite images from the celebration is Michelle standing beneath the stunning pink balloon installation, gently cradling her growing bump while proudly holding one of her French Bulldogs in her arms as the other relaxed comfortably beside her.
It's such a beautiful representation of what this next chapter means—not replacing family, but growing it.
