If you thought the luxury ended with the yacht… think again.

After our magical morning aboard Moonshadow, we headed up to one of my absolute favourite locations in Cape Town — Signal Hill. And let me tell you, this second chapter of Clay and Wumi’s shoot was pure cinematic perfection.

Waiting for us was their hired vintage Jaguar, the most timeless, elegant cream beauty that looked like it had driven straight out of a classic film. Parked against the dramatic backdrop of Table Mountain and Lion’s Head, it created a scene that felt both nostalgic and iconic — old-world glamour meets Cape Town’s raw natural beauty.

There is something about Signal Hill that never disappoints. The winding roads, the textured landscape, the golden light that wraps itself around the mountains in the late afternoon — it’s breath-taking every single time. And on this particular day, the light was soft and golden, casting the most romantic glow over everything.

Wumi changed into another effortlessly glamorous look — soft, flowing fabric, elegant headscarf, statement sunglasses. She embodied vintage sophistication with a modern edge. Sitting gracefully on the bonnet of the Jaguar, with the mountains rising behind her, she looked like she belonged on the cover of a luxury travel editorial. Clay complemented her perfectly in crisp white — classic, refined, confident. Together, they were the definition of timeless style.

One of my favourite moments was capturing them sharing a quiet kiss against the car, with Lion’s Head towering behind them. It felt intimate and powerful at the same time — a couple completely wrapped up in each other while standing in the middle of one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

The combination of the vintage car and Cape Town’s landscape created such a strong visual contrast. The polished chrome details of the Jaguar against the rugged mountain textures. The softness of Wumi’s dress against the bold lines of the road. Every element worked together so seamlessly.

But beyond the aesthetics — what truly makes shoots like this special for me is the experience. I genuinely love capturing people’s Cape Town trips. There is something so meaningful about freezing these moments in time. When clients travel across the world to celebrate love, milestones, or simply life itself in this city, I don’t take that lightly.

Cape Town has this way of making people feel alive. The ocean, the mountains, the open skies — it invites you to slow down, breathe deeper, and just be. And being the one who documents that joy, that connection, that sense of wonder? It fills my heart every single time.

Clay and Wumi didn’t just do a photoshoot — they embraced the full experience. From luxury at sea to vintage glamour on Signal Hill, they truly immersed themselves in everything this city has to offer. And that’s what I love most. It’s not just about beautiful images (although we absolutely created those). It’s about telling the story of their adventure.

Photographing tourists in Cape Town has become something I deeply cherish. Watching couples explore, dress up, celebrate, laugh, and fall in love with this city — it feels like I’m sharing a piece of home with the world.

Clay & Wumi, thank you for allowing me to be part of your Cape Town story. From Moonshadow to Signal Hill, you brought elegance, chemistry, and undeniable style. And once again, this city showed up and showed off.
